Forum Rules

[Tsa'ar]

This forum has been created to improve the communication between the guild's members and enhance the game experience. All users are expected to behave appropriately and use it for the benefit of themselves, the guild and their fellow guild members. The following "rules" are expected to be followed by all members of Eclipse. Failure to adhere with them may result in disciplinary action against the violator ranging from Official Warnings (OW) to temporary and even permanent bans.

Forum Rules

1. Show respect. Treat others the way you want to be treated.
2. Post in English only. Posts in other languages will be deleted immediately.
3. Spam will not be tolerated. Such posts will be deleted.
4. No pornographic, sexually offensive, sexually explicit, or objectifying material. This includes suggestive images, graphics, and comments.
5. Using red text is forbidden. Only moderators and administrators may use this.
6. Insulting and flaming or personal attacks against forum members will be not tolerated.
7. Be considerate with the language you are using since there are members of various ages using this forum.
8. No hacking, and illegal activity, such as torrents and illegal downloads, this will not be tolerated, and if appropriate, may be reported to local authority.
9. Please do not post inappropriate material. The policy goes that if you would not feel comfortable viewing it at work, or in front of children or parents, don't post it !
10. Personal Attacks. Criticize ideas, not people. Flaming will not be tolerated. This includes any material which is vulgar, defamatory, inaccurate, harassing, hateful, threatening, invading of others privacy, sexually oriented, or violates any laws.
11. Do not post links to warez, warez sites or sites with pornographic or objectionable content. Only link to sites that are for family viewing only.
12. No Blatant Advertising. This forum is not free advertising space.
13. Respect the Moderators decisions– the Moderators reserve the right to edit, relocate and/or remove any message, at any time, for any reason. All editing decisions should be considered final.
14. Pay attention to moderation directives. Moderators can give directives in a thread (e.g., stop posting off-topic, stop bad behavior, etc). Everyone is expected to abide by such directives, but users who do not agree with the fairness of the directives may appeal such directives to the moderators via email. Appeals are not to be made in threads. Directives may be general to specific, and are intended to keep a thread from completely derailing.
15. Respect the privacy of others. Do not post others private phone numbers, addresses, pictures, etc., without their express permission.

Ease of Use Rules

1. Register in the forum using your in-game name. In case you have already registered using a different one, you can change it at the Profile section. Accounts with names not matching the guild roster will be notified to change it. Failure to do so will result in the deletion of the account.
2. Do not post in capital letters since it is considered shouting.
3. Post in the right forum! You may have your post deleted if you post in the wrong forum!
4. Use descriptive Topic Subject. This will help others find what they want to read. Topics with bad Topic subjects may be deleted!
5. Research your Post! Make sure you are not double posting, search the forum first so that topics that have already been discussed aren't posted again.
6. No trolling. Don't make posts that are inflammatory just to annoy people.
7. Please refrain from posting images larger than 800x600. This is considerate to members with slow internet speeds, and keeps the forum looking tidy.
